In community gardens, individuals gather to cultivate fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers together. These gardens can be created on empty lots and turned into green areas, or they can be planted on rooftops, in public parks, at schools, or on plots. They act as centers for social engagement within the community, promoting access to fresh products, education, and community bonding. In order to plan, plant, tend, and harvest the garden, community members usually collaborate, sharing tools, information, and duties.
